Nystatin vaginal cream is an antifungal preparation used for the treatment of vaginal yeast infections (candidiasis). It works by binding to fungal cell membrane sterols, causing leakage of cell contents and fungal cell death. It is applied intravaginally, usually once or twice daily for the prescribed duration.
